Sick pets sometimes require admission into the hospital for tests and treatment. Day hospitalization at My Family Vet clinic may involve your pet being admitted for numerous reasons which may include observation, diagnostic testing, procedures, intravenous fluid therapy, and medical and nursing supportive care. While in our care, be assured that your pet will be closely monitored throughout the day. We welcome you to call anytime to get a nurse update while they are with us.

If your pet requires overnight hospitalization, we may advise you to take them to a nearby emergency center to be under the care of experienced veterinary staff all night. There they will be checked and watched by experienced emergency veterinary staff. The vets will then contact you the next morning to give an overnight update and discuss an ongoing plan. They will then discuss the case with us.
