My Family Vet Upper Kedron is in the final stages of getting ready for opening on Monday 18th September. Over the past several months the team has been working hard to get the clinic ready to welcome new pets.
Fit-out of the clinic was completed a few weeks ago with lovely new cabinetry, seating, and shelving. The design of the waiting room with wood tones, bench seating, plants and friendly animal photos creates a warm and welcoming ambiance.
All of the medical equipment is now in place and ready to use. My Family Vet has brand new diagnostic equipment to help with sick and injured patients – including blood and urine test analyzers, microscope, digital diagnostic x-ray and ultrasound. There is also a full dental suite with dental x-ray and a dental machine to allow for providing good oral care. The surgery room has the latest surgical equipment including a new anaesthetic machine, cautery, suction, comprehensive monitoring equipment, IV pump, and a warming blanket.
A wide range of drugs has been ordered to stock the in-house pharmacy. Most medications that pets need will be stocked in-house. An array of products for prevention of worms, fleas and ticks will be on sale. There will also be an assortment of prescription food on the shelves.
This week will be spent busily getting the clinic stocked, sorted, cleaned and ready to open. There is a Welcoming Offer of $25 off the first visit of each new pet, until the end of the year. The team are getting excited to meet all the pets in the community and their families!
