From Pet Store to Head Nurse

Zie’s journey with animals started as a teenager in a local pet store, sparking a passion that grew into a career. After completing her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing, she rose to become Head Nurse in a busy small-animal practice and gained valuable experience in general practice and with an after-hours mobile vet service.

Today, Zie brings all that expertise to My Family Vet Upper Kedron, where she ensures the clinic runs smoothly and pets feel calm and cared for. Her special talent is making families feel welcome and pets feel at ease, even on those not-so-fun vet visit days.

Caring Beyond the Clinic

Alongside her clinic work, Zie offers pet sitting services to the Upper Kedron community. She understands how important it is for owners to feel confident when they are away, and she makes it her mission to keep pets safe, happy, and loved in the comfort of their own home. Whether it is a playful cat, an energetic dog, or anything in between, Zie tailors her care to each pet’s unique needs.

At home, she shares life with Bow, her lively cat who thinks he is more dog than feline.
